Creative producing begins with understanding what an artistic idea needs in order to become a
production. That could mean the right collaborators, a workable budget, a venue, a production
plan, technical support or simply someone who can bring all the moving parts together.
At Vyom, we see the creative producer as more than a project manager. We work alongside the
artist to understand the intent of the work, ask the right questions and identify what the
production truly needs. From collaborators and budgets to logistics, communication and
presentation, we build the structures that allow an artistic idea to become a strong and viable
production.
Vyom takes care of the planning, coordination and practical work around the production, while
staying closely aligned with what the artist wants to create.
FROM IDEA TO EXECUTION
The idea starts with the artist. Vyom helps put the people, planning
and resources around it so it can move into production.
This can include defining the scale, identifying resources,
coordinating collaborators, planning timelines and making sure the
different parts of the production are working towards the same
artistic intent.
Ideally, Vyom gets involved during the development stage, when the
idea is still being shaped and decisions around scale, resources,
collaborators and the overall direction can still be considered.
We can also step into an already-developed production and help
structure and execute it from that stage onwards.

Creative producing often means managing everything that surrounds the performance, without becoming the performance itself.
Our work can include production planning, budgeting, venue coordination, artist and collaborator management, partnerships, scheduling, technical requirements, documentation, marketing communications and on-ground production.
Every engagement is customised because no two productions ask for the same kind of support.

Vyom works with independent artists, dance and music practitioners, arts organisations and cultural institutions across different creative formats.
Our engagements can include performances, festivals,
residencies, cultural programmes, interdisciplinary projects
and larger artistic initiatives.
The role we take on depends on what the project needs. In
some cases, Vyom works as a creative producer. In others, we
may support curation, artistic direction and programming, or
take on a broader role across development, management,
production and execution
